Israel isn't just stopping aid. They are forcing everyone else not to send aid. They allegedly bombed aid shipments heading to Gaza.

It is about using starvation as a war strategy, a crime against humanity. Never fall into the trappings of blaming Hamas for Israel's starvation campaign

I would take over and fully clear an area in the north and south, wall and fence that area and setup aid distribution at its edges. Then, Gazans can get IDs that they can use to get aid, or enter the safe zone to get food, shelter, medicine, and clean water. If you come into the safe zone you stay there. Over time, we clear the next area fully, setup wall and fence around it, then take down the first wall and fence, opening up the safe zone into a larger area, at which time I'd prolly begin permanent construction for new housing and shops to support people who wanted to stay in Gaza. Speaking of staying or leaving, I would also use this opportunity to begin moving Gazans who wanted to leave Gaza out of Gaza with a financial stipend to get them started in their new home country (it's not ethnic cleansing if it is voluntary).

This is why occupation is necessary at this point. Hamas won't feed its own people, it's not a government, it's a parasite. The area needs to be governed, so that civil services can be administered.

Anything is better than the current system as Hamas steals most food and stores it or resells is for a huge profit. Using the profit to buy more weapons to keep attacking Israel. Which keeps all miserable.

The population is very angry right now as the aid is not getting to them so USA, Israel, and NGOs spend billions on something that's completely broken. The aid needs to be given to families as otherwise they will never see it. So somehow you'll need to deliver it. I think this Israel idea is very good. Not perfect, but it could solve like 90% of the current issue.

There are aspects of this war I don't understand. Some of it has to do with how small a military IDF is I guess. Manpower is just more limited than the US military. 

We'd likely have our military administer aid directly. In part just as bait to get the jihadis out in the open when they try to attack distribution hubs.

I dont think this is a really relevant question. Regardless of what Hamas does, blocking aid is a war crime. There IDF's strategic concerns dont make it any less of a warcrime. So "who will blink first" is shifting the blame for this atrocity, when it could be remedied any time by the IDF by upholding their obligations under the relevant conventions and treaties at play here. As long as the IDF does not control thhe entirety of Gaza, this will remain an unsolvable problem. If Hamas controls Gaza (which is does), it will be able to control the food distribution. As long as Hamas controls the food distribution, it cannot be defeated.

Many Gazans use them as the local vets for animals now normal services aren’t available.

For humans, there’s the [Sameer Project](https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/the-sameer-project/), who are also verifiable and help Palestinians on the ground. They organise activities for children, and help families displaced with essential supplies etc.

This is why even though donating is heavily important, people cannot live like this forever. At some point, like the man said, the food will run out and people may end up fighting each other over it.
